The best way to get to MediaCityUK is via the Metrolink tram which pulls right up in front of the buildings, but there are other options if you want to drive. Manchester is pretty easy to get across and Salford Quays is really only 45 min walk or 20 min cycle from Manchester City Centre.
Getting here
Road and Parking
We are two minutes from the Greater Manchester motorway network and have a new link road direct to the M602. We also have 2,300 parking spaces in our new multi-storey car park that is accessed via Broadway (see map).
Tram
The new tram terminus is at the heart of MediaCityUK and it takes 20 minutes to get to Manchester Piccadilly or ten minutes to Eccles Station. In addition the Broadway tram stop is adjacent to The Pie Factory. You can call Metrolink on 01612052000 for much more information.

Bus
A new bus service will take passengers from MediaCityUK to Salford Crescent Station. The service will operate every 15 minutes and will go via Salford Shopping City. Find out more at: www.tfgm.com/salfordquayslink

69 – Eccles – Stretford. A regular service until 6pm excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Buses that stop on Eccles New Road (20 mins walk to The Lowry):

25 – Bolton – Manchester. An evening, Sunday and Bank Holiday service.
33 – Wigan – Manchester. A regular service.
63 – Brookhouse – Manchester. An evening, Sunday and Bank Holiday service.

MediaCityUK is easy to reach by bike and there are over 300 cycle bays dotted across our site.
Taxis
Taxis can be caught outside the Lowry Theatre all the way through the event. But you can also call streetcars taxis and have it pick you up outside the MediaCity Holiday Inn hotel. Streetcars can be called on 01612287878 or 01612281551.
Airport
Manchester Airport is a 20-minute drive away and offers the choice of more than 200 destinations worldwide. Additional overseas connections are available at nearby Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
