BarCampMediaCityUK is being held at
BBC Quay House, MediaCityUK,
All the maps have yet to be updated so it is best to aim for the Holiday Inn or the Lowry Theatre… We can assure you it is not still a building site.
The best way to get to MediaCityUK is via the Metrolink tram which pulls right up in front of the buildings, but there are other options if you want to drive. Manchester is pretty easy to get across and Salford Quays is really only 45 min walk or 20 min cycle from Manchester City Centre.
Road and Parking
We are two minutes from the Greater Manchester motorway network and have a new link road direct to the M602. We also have 2,300 parking spaces in our new multi-storey car park that is accessed via Broadway (see map).
The new tram terminus is at the heart of MediaCityUK and it takes 20 minutes to get to Manchester Piccadilly or ten minutes to Eccles Station. In addition the Broadway tram stop is adjacent to The Pie Factory. You can call Metrolink on 01612052000 for much more information.
